Sad House Daddy presents <> plus the Dan Spanner Trio
Biddle Bros, E5 0QR , [Venue Details] Sad House Daddy presents <<NUKLI>> plus the Dan Spanner Trio with DJ fOxytocin 'til late. Free entry!
Saxophonist Dan Spanner's sound is steeped in a brew of psychedelic rock, jazz, punk, ska, gypsy, klezmer, and big band swing. Dan leads a number of ensembles, including The Spanner Big Band & Spanner Jazz Punks.
Born from the squats and free festivals of the 1980s, psychedelic, space rock veterans <<NUKLI>> (pronounced Nuke-Lie) are a psych/prog three-piece band with a long history and back catalogue (from 1983's 'Psychelektra Trip Projekta' to 2025's 'Acid Funk').
Core members, Kev Hegan (guitar & vocals) and Mark Huxley (bass), have played together since the '80s, and that history shows itself in the intuitive and complementary way their instruments support each other, with plenty of melodic interplay between them.
